would you speak to her about woman´s right and the right to choose her own life?

Questions like this often occur when we have international experiences and interact with local communities. First, we have to decide how to proceed in a responsible manner, ie, respecting cultural diversity and ensuring our positive impact on the environment in which we collaborating.

As volunteers, donors or responsible travelers we must be aware of the impact of our actions, which are closely related to the knowledge we have on issues of international participation and development.

SPECIAL OFFER FOR JULY: IF YOU ENROLL IN A COURSE DURING THIS MONTH, 10% DISCOUNT

The “Expert course on Participation and Development: the role of civil society in a globalized and unequal world" is a professional and highly practical course, aimed at providing all the knowledge and acquiring the methodology needed to understand the current international system of cooperation development, in order to become capable of generating and implementing effective and viable alternatives from civil society. This is not an academic theory course.

With this Expert Course, AIPC Pandora wants to present new approaches that will serve as inspiration for new methods of work and projects in international cooperation. We start off from the need to reformulate or expand the list of actors in development cooperation, in order to include civil society as an important actor in the promotion of solidarity actions.

Therefore, you will find, in addition to the basic theory of international cooperation, new approaches and practices for action in a new globalized world that needs to rethink its policies of cooperation.  Due to this, we will review all potential stakeholders and analyze their ability to act.

Field practices
Those who want to incorporate the acquired knowledge in field practice will have the priority to participate in any of our Microprojects for Development Cooperation 2012, in destinations like South Africa, Tanzania, Mali, Peru... (see special additional cost for students)

The 2012 Micro projects will be published starting from October 2011. Meanwhile, you can review the Micro Development Cooperation 2011 by clicking here.
